LITTLE COMPANIONS FOR LIFE'S DAILY ADVENTURES.

How it all began

LOST & FOUND began in 2011 as the adventure of two travel-loving sisters. Unable to find stylish and practical accessories for life on the go, they simply decided to create their own and named the label «LOST & FOUND». The name was inspired by the idea of creating everyday and travel essentials – items you might find in a lost and found office.

As the years passed, the duo realized the name held a deeper meaning, perfectly capturing the essence of their own journey. LOST & FOUND - a reflection of life’s personal adventure, where we constantly lose and rediscover ourselves, both in the everyday and while exploring the world.
Today, LOST & FOUND accessoires has evolved into a small team of women designing accessories to accompany you on your daily adventures, while encouraging you to lose yourself – in moments, encounters, and daydreams – so that you can continuously rediscover, reconnect with, and even reinvent yourself along the way.

factory

Our leather accessories are meticulously handcrafted in a small factory in Thailand, where great care and dedication go into every piece. We have worked closely with this family-owned business since day one, which not only ensures fair working conditions in a beautiful working environment but also provides young talents with the opportunity to learn the art of leather crafting. Here, no mass-produced items are made, but handcrafted pieces in small editions.

We prioritize responsible production, avoiding overproduction and unnecessary stock that might end up discarded. As a result, there may be times when an accessory is temporarily out of stock until new supplies are ready.
Our factory has the expertise and equipment to manufacture the full range of leather accessories – from bags and wallets to belts and keychains. This versatility is not unique in leather production, but it is becoming increasingly rare. This allows us to offer you a matching accessory for every bag, crafted from the same high-quality leather and with the same meticulous attention to detail. On the other hand, it helps us minimize leather waste during production, as we can create even the smallest accessories with care and precision.

origin of leather

We primarily use full-grain cowhide for our accessories. Unlike embossed leather, full-grain leather remains untreated, preserving its natural texture and making it especially durable and robust. Our leather is sourced from a family-run tannery in Thailand with a four-generation tradition. This tannery has earned a silver rating from the Leather Working Group, recognizing its commitment to sustainable and responsible production practices.

knitwear collection

Since 2024, we’ve expanded our collection to include knitwear, available during the winter months. Our beanies and scarves are crafted in a knitwear factory in Portugal, where a skilled team works with state-of-the-art weaving machines. The wool blend – 25% Baby Suri Alpaca and 75% Super Fine Wool – ensures a particularly soft feel against the skin, while also helping the knitwear retain its shape over time.

The wool is combed, spun, and dyed in a traditional spinning mill in northern Italy. It is certified under various standards, including Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Ethic Et, and Sustainawool, and is guaranteed mulesing-free. This ensures that no sheep have been subjected to the painful mulesing procedure, which involves the removal of skin folds to prevent fly strike.

Each knitted accessory is finished with a small leather label, adding a stylish touch and subtly linking it to our leather collection.
